ETIQUS ENGLAND GOLF CAPTAINS CHARITY CHALLENGE

In this summer's England Golf Captains events across the country a new feature was added to the individual Stableford competitions to raise money in support of the Golf Foundation.

England Golf Captains participating in each event were invited to donate £5 to the Golf Foundation for the chance to win a £199 ETIQUS watch voucher in a nearest the pin feature on a nominated Par 3 hole at each venue.

The regional qualifying events were held at the excellent courses of Woodcote Park in Surrey, Huddersfield Golf Club at Fixby, Wilmslow Golf Club near Manchester, Longcliffe Golf Club near Loughborough, Teignmouth Golf Club, finishing off at Princes in Kent. The Grand Final was played at the home of England Golf in Woodhall Spa with players competing on the beautifully presented Hotchkin course.

In all 572 players donated a 'fiver' to raise a total of £2860 to help more young people enjoy the playing and personal benefits of golf. We thank them all for their support.
